Gun Show! + Dunk Tank Round 1 Photos
The Gun Show is entering it’s second round with the adult climbing session about 1 hour in and the kids session over. There’s still plenty of time to come on down and try out the 50 new problems we set, enjoy the La Sportiva & Native Bar-b-que, enter the pull-up contest, listen to DJ Dirt Monkey, watch Pro Finals, and drink Avery beer!
The dunk tank has been a hit and will run into the first couple of hours of the adult session. $5 donated to the youth team gets you 3 balls to try and dunk whichever unlucky sap is stuck on the chair. So far today we’ve dunked Spot Events Coordinator Andrew Clinkingbeard, Spot Climbing School Director Brett Merlin, Spot coaches David Garcia, Shannon Forsman, and Adam Broadbent, BRC coach Chris Wall, ABC coach Robyn Erbesfield, Movement coaches Jon Cardwell, Chelsea Rude, and Taylor Nystrom, and a bunch of other folks. The weather is nice and warm, so come on down and throw some balls at Vail Athletic Club coach and Team USA member Adam Markert or one of the other folks who’ll be sitting pretty this evening.
