Ian Dory started coaching at The Spot early fall of 2012, and since late fall he’s been setting with us as well. Ian has proved to be an amazing setter as well as a tireless forerunner, and we’re very glad to have him on the team.

Ian is a well-traveled comp climber with podiums at many local and several National level competitions. He won UBC North Face Open at the Noreaster in 2011 and, in February of 2013, Ian took 2nd place at the ABS 14 Adult National Championships!

In 2014 Ian participated in the American Ninja Warrior tv show. He’s not allowed to say how he did yet cause the show isn’t over. Stay tuned in July 2014 to see!
